The Piper Cub was designed as a trainer. It had great popularity in this role and as a general aviation aircraft. Due to its performance, it was well suited for a variety of military uses such as reconnaissance, liaison and ground control. It was produced in large numbers during World War II as the L-4 Grasshopper. Many Cubs are still flying today. Cubs are highly prized as bush aircraft.
We have rebuilt that classic plane as a redition of the WW2 spotter plane and as a easy flyer and good to transport.
Utilising eiterh a .50 size two or a .70 size four stroke engine give ample power to fly the plane from short runways.
Optionally a electric engin can be used, with easy access to the main compartment which can house a battery for easy change.
A wide range of scale accessories is available, like scale engine, dash and pilot as part of our optional scale pack.
We alos offer a hardward pack with the prebuild undercarriage, wires and the main hardware to build the plane.
